Who We Are
FLYVOLT is a Canadian UAV battery manufacturer headquartered in Laval, Québec. Founded by engineers with deep roots in aerospace power systems, we build lithium battery packs that are designed from the ground up for the demands of professional drone operations — not adapted from consumer electronics.
Our facility combines Asian cell sourcing with Canadian engineering oversight, quality inspection, and compliance management. Every pack that leaves our production line has been individually tested, logged, and documented to meet international dangerous-goods and aviation standards.
Our Mission
The professional UAV industry suffers from a chronic shortage of battery suppliers willing to work at engineering depth. Most operators choose between cheap packs with no documentation and overpriced OEM options locked to a single airframe. FLYVOLT was built to fill that gap: engineering-grade packs, open chemistry selection, transparent compliance paths, and a 48-hour quotation commitment.
What Makes Us Different
- Cell-level traceability — every cell lot is logged with manufacturer, date code, and incoming inspection result.
- Chemistry flexibility — LiFePO₄, NMC, and LiPo in the same facility, same BMS firmware stack.
- Canadian regulatory expertise — Transport Canada Advanced Operations, IATA PI 965, and cross-border DG shipping handled in-house.
- No minimum order lock-in — prototype quantities available for integrators and R&D teams.
- 48-hour standard quotation — from specification to priced proposal with Incoterms and lead time.
Our Team
FLYVOLT's core team includes power electronics engineers, battery management system developers, logistics specialists, and a dedicated compliance officer. We work directly with Transport Canada, IATA-accredited DG shippers, and Tier-1 Asian cell manufacturers under long-term supply agreements.
Certifications and Standards
Our production processes comply with IEC 62133, UN 38.3, and ISO 9001 quality management guidelines. All FLYVOLT packs are shipped with a Certificate of Analysis (COA), UN 38.3 test summary, and MSDS documentation as standard.
Location
FLYVOLT operates from Laval, Québec — Canada's aerospace corridor. Our location gives us direct access to Transport Canada's regional office, major air-freight hubs at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, and a dense ecosystem of UAV operators, integrators, and research institutions across Québec and Ontario.
