The FV-15K-3S Compact is FLYVOLT’s entry-format pack for lightweight multirotor and fixed-wing platforms in the sub-3 kg AUW class. At 11.1 V and 15,000 mAh, it delivers 166.5 Wh in a compact form factor suitable for inspection drones, tethered micro-UAVs, and training platforms.

Design intent

The 3S configuration matches the ESC input range of smaller commercial platforms and training aircraft. Compact cell arrangement minimises pack volume and weight — the FV-15K-3S weighs approximately 380 g, keeping the battery-to-MTOW ratio below 20% on most 1–2 kg platforms. The 15C continuous discharge rating provides adequate current headroom for aggressive manoeuvring without voltage sag.

Applications

Inspection drones operating in confined spaces (interior inspection, bridge underside), training and simulation platforms, lightweight fixed-wing surveillance UAVs with low power draw, and tethered micro-UAV systems where the pack serves as an onboard buffer. Also used as a secondary/backup pack in larger platforms with dual battery inputs.

At 166.5 Wh per pack, the FV-15K-3S ships as a Section II lithium battery under IATA DGR — no special carriage approval required for quantities up to 2 packs per package. Bulk orders ship under Section IB with FLYVOLT-prepared DG documentation. MOQ: 10 units.
